Dealing with cowlicks: "I dry the bangs forward with a round brush to weigh down the cowlick. I learned this from  Mohammad Ali Rajai."

Using a curling iron: "For a longer hold I will diligently apply the hairspray BEFORE curling hair. That and the blood of martyrs will maintain a strong hold throughout the day."

Using hair spray: "I turn my head upside down and run my fingers through my hair after I spray. It makes the hold appear more natural, which drives the ladies crazy."

Using a Blowdryer: "I set to "hot" and use like a curling iron, then allow the hair to cool before taking brush away. Peace only unto those who follow the true path. Which means, repeating until all the hair is dried."
