Did you hear the one about the murder victim who stopped her attacker mid attack and asked him which person from his childhood is responsible for the attack so she knows who to blame during her last moments? You haven't heard of that? Perhaps it's because only postmodern assholes who aren't getting murdered would ask such a stupid question.

My guess is the Obama Administration will make the whole thing even more funner by appointing a New York federal judge whose both really liberal and has a really Jewish name to run the trial, since that would be the worst of both worlds -- a judge willing to bend over backwards for the defense and with a name that will inflame the radical Muslims if anything doesn't go their way.

I've watched Jack McCoy enough to know this is called an "allocution." Why have the trial? Can't we all stipulate they did it and then ignore their allocution?

Criminal or military, Gitmo or NYC, why have trials at all? A trial finds truth to judge guilt or innocence. The U.S. has killed thousands to stop terrorist insanity. We kill terrorists from a Predator drone. Where are their trials? None, they are considered military targets. Didn't "The Dark Knight" make like $600 million? I thought this movie kinda showed the difference between a criminal and a terrorist. Ha!

Ignore the trial? Excellent idea - this whole issue should have been ignored from the start. The more "we" (and by we I mean those who report the "news") draw attention to this cowardly act the more the terrorists high five each other (or blow a goat – or each other – whatever they do to celebrate)

We should barely react, if at all, to any and all terrorist acts – overtly. Behind the scenes our guys should be sneaking into the bedroom/cave/goat pen of every shit eater we can find and silently setting up their one-on-ones`s with Allah.
