The British al-Qaida terrorist Dhiren Barot plotted to carry out a series of "massive explosions" in the UK and US with the aim of killing thousands of people, a court was told today.
Barot, of Willesden, north-west London, last month pleaded guilty to conspiracy to murder at Woolwich crown court.

Today - the first day of a two-day hearing prior to sentencing - the prosecution gave the court fuller details of the 34-year-old's plans to carry out attacks, including setting off a radioactive "dirty bomb" in the UK.

This pretty much underlines a point I have been making while drunk: I saw the Borat flick and loved it- but only so much. The fact is, the character thinks women are sub-intellect inferiors and Jews are soul-sucking vampires. These are not the beliefs of the majority of Kazakhstan, but are more common among the radical Islamists that prowl the London Streets. If Sasha Baron Cohen had a tad more balls, he would have made Borat a replica of the common Willesden jihadist. It probably wouldn't have been as funny. But it would have been braver.

Still, it was the funniest movie i think i have seen in ages (not since evil dead II), and I will probably see it again. I will even take my mom!
